Here we have a particularly finely built 0-6-0 chassis, based upon the Butch design by Charles Kennion. It is the work of a very skilled model engineer, who has taken care to produce a very crisp job. The valve gear is beautifully done, but I particularly like the attention he's given to rounding off the edges and putting the extra flourishes to the model.
It's really close to being a running model. The valve's are there, although not machined and fitted, and the return cranks and foundation links both need fitting,.... although as you can see, they've been fully machined.
This will make up into a beautiful loco, and is a proven design well suited to many happy hours pulling passengers, and trundling round your club track.
